What is AxCart?
AxCart is a point of sale and inventory management platform that also includes a full online storefront. Your register, your warehouses, and your online store all share the same stock, customers, and reports.
Who is AxCart designed for?
Retailers who sell in person, online, or both — from a single grocery store to a multi-location fashion, electronics, or home goods business.
Can I manage multiple warehouses or locations?
Yes. AxCart tracks stock per warehouse in real time, with batch/expiry tracking and one-click transfers between locations — all from one account.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, paid plans include a 14-day free trial, and the Starter plan is free to use indefinitely within its limits.
Do I need a separate eCommerce platform?
No — the online storefront is built in and shares inventory with your point of sale, so there's nothing separate to sync.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, you can change plans at any time from your account settings with no long-term contract required.

Does the point of sale work with barcode scanners and receipt printers?
Yes — barcode scan-to-search checkout, printable barcode labels, and both 80mm/58mm thermal and A4 PDF receipts are supported.
Is the AI assistant required?
No. It's completely optional, disabled and hidden by default, and only activates once you add your own API key for Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or Google Gemini.
Are staff and customer mobile apps included?
Yes — a staff companion app (with source code) for barcode lookups and support on the floor, and a customer app for browsing, ordering, and tracking.
What languages does AxCart support?
English, Bengali, German, Spanish, Hindi, and Italian out of the box, with an in-admin language manager.
Is my data secure?
AxCart uses role-based access controls with enforceable two-factor authentication, a full activity log, and encrypts sensitive credentials like AI provider API keys at rest.
